We of the planet Earth,
assume the Governments of our countries
are somewhat elected to serve our interests and safety. Those
in the United States are feeling more and more like pawns in
a
board game, and have very little evidence to the exsistance of
aliens.
Our views are filled with unjust
stories of Government 'cover-ups' and
un-truths about flying saucers or aliens. In the United States
a group of beleivers have produced a website "www.freedomofinfo.org"
that is bent on opening and exposing documents and 'white-papers'
that supposedly come from high official places, and contain some
iformation of
secret projects and private projects.
Television is a powerful doorway
for the hungry-minded watchers that
need to hear the latest news and gossip that surrounds their
civilized
safe environment. In our homes, we sit in front of the TV and
listen
to the daily news or watch our favorite movies, and in between;
take
into a commercial or two. We are lead to believe everything we
hear
and see on this magic box of moving pictures can be true or fantasy.
Truth and fiction can come in
many different ways. We can watch a
drug commercial that tells us whats wrong with the way we feel,
then tell
us how easy it is to fix it for one low price...just ask your
doctor. Now,
I'm not saying this is all wrong, but it's just not right. Wether
you
choose to beleive everything you hear and see (or read) is up
to you,
and what you have to say or do about it, should be understood.
Understanding what you beleive
is another part of the truth, and no
truth can be made beleiveable until everyone understands. What
can't
be understood; is the truth behind the actions of others and
what they
intend to do with it. Keeping secrets may infact; help or destroy
lives.
We live our lives each day and
goto school, work, and even church
on Sundays fearing power. Power is fear. It is this fear that
can
change the way we conduct ourselves, it is the power that can
change
our lives or even destroy it. Power by fear is what many use
to control
our actions and lives. If there was no fear; we would not be
here.
To say; "I am a God Fearing
Man, and no one on this Earth can change
that" would be untrue, because I am afraid of what is on
this Earth;
it is called a Human. To truely understand what is human; is
scary; and as a human, I am afraid of what we do. Jesus Christ;
was told to have given his life for our sins, and those sins
are in our blood, and in our souls. Humans have proven to be
dangerous. Humans cannot be trusted with absolute power.
To trust in ourselves is only
the first step to being true to
our actions, but not without suffering will we appreciate the
honest
truth to our being. Learning to accept the truth about our presence,
could only come from those that have the power and knowledge
of what
and who we are, and what we can truely do.
If the truth to our exsistance
lies in the past...then we must have
access to this truth. The truth we are wanting might be to much
to handle, and may even ruin us. Ignorance is the only thing
that keeps the truth from changing our current ways. To ignore
the truth can keep many things safe. There is safety in religion,
governement, and world societies, keeping us controled in a daily
fashion, and hiding the truth from us; in order to continue our
lives and theirs.
What if the future we have is
already written, and the controlling powers are trying desperately
to change it. With secret missle bases, bio-germ war plans, and
military cover-ups in the news; no one has the chance to search
for the real ultimate answer or age old question..."Is There
Life Elsewhere?"
What if UFOs landed here years
ago, and the aliens could'nt get back home? What if those aliens
looked just like us, and had to blend or merge into
our civilization inorder to survive? Or maybe, some of them are
time-travelers from our future and decided to live in the past
instead of a polluted and crowded world.
In the scientific world; there
are many formulas to finding the truth
or 'sum' of a question. What if the ultimate question; "Are
We Alone In The Universe?", can be answered with a deffinate
"NO". Would our civilization collapse, would
people claim that the end is near, or would we accept the truth
as part of an evolutionary welcoming?
Frank Drake; one of the pioneers
for the S.E.T.I. Institute; has developed a formula to help solve
the ultimate questionn...this formula is as follows:
"N" equals the number
of intellegent civilizations within our galaxy.
(N = R * Fp * Ne * Fl * Fi * Fc / L)
"R" equals the number of Stars or "Suns"
"Fp" equals the fraction of Stars that have
planets revolving around them, much like the ones in our own
solar system (we have 9).
"Ne" equals number of planets that have "Earth-Like"
characteristics
"Fl" equals the fraction of "Earth-Like"
worlds with life on them.(life could be different from what are
used to, but close to the form of a bug, insect, or just plant
life...no intelegence as we know it)
"Fi" equals the fraction of Planets WITH intellegent
life, but not the ability to comprehend or communicate with us
or anyone else.
"Fc" equals the fraction of planets that have
evolved into intellegent civilizations, and have the technology
or ability to communicate.
"L" equals the longevity of a planet's society,
and is the total age of their exsistance; in relation to the
technology or sciences they developed.
With all the factors and numbers
done and said, the total number of planets with intellegent life,
and advanced societies that have survived their own exsistance
is about; 50,000 (fifty thousand).
That's a very large number of neighbors! Out of the 50,000 civilizations
capable of traveling in outer space, and finding or visiting
our little planet; is about: 500, or 1% (one percent).
So, now we have an estimated
number of legitimate claims to aliens or
UFO sightings and related phenomina...in theory. Science Fiction
has increased our beleifes and acceptance in these "alien
encounters", and used these figures as well. But there are
those that refute the evidence and beleive that these are all
fictional stories and that none of it is real, and we are only
fooling ourselves.
Many people want to beleive;
but there are those that say we are not ready, and beleive that
our exsistance is set forth in some sort of cosmic evolutionary
program. Some tend to beleive that we are part of a growing study
for some other intellegence to look at; much like an 'ant-farm'
is to a little boy with a collection of pets.
UFO sightings have been documented
for hundreds; even thousands of years. The Myan civilization
based their religious beleifes on a Holy Man with powers that
decended from the heavens in a firery ship. The Egyptians etched
years of history in cavern walls and in pyramids, and wrote of
strange flying craft, men with strange red hair and 'cloned'
similarities, then left in great balls of light that took them
from the planet.
Throughout our modern history;
and during each world war; pilots and service personel have mentioned
and in some cases documented strange and misterious lights following
their planes. These lights or craft have watched us through the
years, and seem to have taken a possition of 'ghosts' throughout
history.
The United States claimed; these
lights were secret weapons from the Russians, and the Russians
beleived that these were from the Germans, and the Germans beleived
that they were from the United States. It was a real mystery
to all of them during the war(s), and the governments all selected
to hide the evidence in fear that they were possibly secret spy
weapons with an advantage to win the war.
Since then, some countries have
grownup and decided to put away their toys of destruction and
concentrate on looking to heavens for answers, but what if the
answers we are looking for cannot be seen, just heard. Will the
truth to other lifeforms come from a radio signal transmitted
through the heavens for us to find?
The answers are being worked
out differently they days, and with the use of computers in our
daily lives, we could get the results to the ultimate question,
but it may not come in our lifetime. You can help by partaking
in the ongoing research today; and you don't have to be a scientist
or have your own building with tons of scentific equipment; you
just need to have a computer, and an Internet connection.
The Search for ExtraTerestrial
Intellegence Institute (SETI) can include you as a member of

as part of the whole question..."Is there life in outer
space?" All the hardware and technology is already in place
and a network has been constructed for all to share. You just

your away, or not using it.
The de-coded data is then sent
back to the lab and added to the rest of the collection. Your
computer then downloads another chunk of data to be de-coded,
and the proccess starts all over again. Those that get the lucky
bit of data into their computer; have the chance to be named
as the one that found the evidence we have all been searching
for.
Like mentioned, the truth may
not come in our life time, or even not
at all...but one thing is clear, if it does come, we will be
ready.
